Texhillco Credit Card holders.

Our credit card program was going to be launching on 9/18. However, due to unforeseen delays with our credit card processor, we’re pushing this launch date back to 11/13/2023.

On 11/13, your Texhillco SEFCU credit card will be fully integrated into our home banking and mobile app, and you’ll be able to see your real-time balance, make payments, and more!

You will receive a new Mastercard in the upcoming weeks, which will need to be activated by 11/13, at which time your current Mastercard will be deactivated.

Credit card payment due dates will also be changing starting with your payment due in December 2023. If you have an automatic payment set up to pay your card, you will need to set it up again in online banking on 11/13.

Just FYI, every two years we are required to perform a Member Verification Audit.  You noticed in your June statement, paper or E-Statement, a note regarding verifying your balances and to notify our auditor with any questions.  NOTICE: “Credit Union Resources is assisting your credit union in conducting a verification of member accounts.  Please compare this statement with your records and report any differences in balances to or by mail to Cornerstone Resources  P.O. Box 655147  Dallas, Tx 75265-5147. When replying, please state your name and credit union.”

How else can we help? We offer a vacation loan, debt consolidation loan, AFG vehicle balloon loan, and/or refinancing vehicle loans from other financials for lower payments.  Bottom line is, we have been able to create positive cash flow for most members who have inquired, some as much as $500 – $800 per month! A2A is the latest service to be up and running! You can transfer funds between Texhillco and your other institutions. Quick and easy to set up, all part of our cell home banking app!

Two significant Solar Eclipse Events are coming to the HIll Country. October 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024. October 2023 may bring large numbers of observers to our area so anticipate this by getting groceries, gas, cash, etc. ahead of time.

The April 8th Event is predicted to create a massive influx of “visitors” to our area. Schools have already planned to be closed, extreme traffic, streets will be heavily congested, our safety resources stretched very thin.

Your Credit Union will also be closed this day as a precaution. We will notify you if traffic or safety concerns require that we close Tuesday also. (All these “visitors” will be heading out, again causing possible congestion and thinly stretched security.)

This will be a very exciting event, but please plan ahead for food, water, cash, gas, etc. Tony

  1. Be sure to keep your Texhillco cell app updated to the latest version!  Update in your cell store.
  2. You can now place your Texhillco MasterCard Credit Card in your cell wallet. Make purchases without taking your card out. More and more vendors in the Kerrville area are updating their payment devices to be In Your Wallet compatible.  I was at the Valero pump the other day and their chip reader wasn’t working, I was able to pay with my watch!   3. We are moving forward with the Debit Card in your wallet in the very near future followed by Tap to Pay debit!

MasterCard participates in the new EMV 3-D Secure Tokenization

If you are trying to make a purchase out of the country, let us know so we can open the “out of the country” feature; we will close it after your purchase.  Out of the country on-line purchases are some of the most un-secure and fraudulent purchases with little to no recovery for losses.
